Cancellation Terms and Conditions

At Villalize, we understand that plans can change. Below are our cancellation policies:

  1. Deposit Policy
  • At the time of booking, the guest may pay the full 100% of the booking amount or pay a 50% deposit, provided that this is done at least 60 days prior to the arrival date.

 

  • If the guest opts to pay a 50% deposit, the remaining 50% must be paid at least 60 days before the check-in date. If the remaining 50% is not paid, the booking will be considered unconfirmed, and the establishment will cancel the booking, with no refund of the initial 50% deposit.

 

  • If the booking is made within 60 days of the arrival date, the guest must pay the full 100% of the booking amount.
  1. Customer Cancellation Policy


General Booking Cancellation Policy

  • If the guest has paid 100% of the booking amount at the time of reservation:
  • 50% of the amount will be refunded if the cancellation is formally communicated via info@villalize.com at least 60 days prior to the check-in date.
  • If the cancellation is made within 60 days of the check-in date, 100% of the booking amount will be charged, and no refund will be provided.

 

  • If the guest has paid the 50% deposit and wishes to cancel more than 60 days before check-in, no refund will be given for the deposit, and no additional charges will be incurred. The booking will be cancelled.
  1. Special Conditions
  • For flexible rates, promotional offers, or special discounts, the cancellation policy may differ and will be communicated to the guest at the time of booking.

 

  1. Cancellation by the Company


The company reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time in case of:

  • Force majeure: Natural disasters, health emergencies, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or any event beyond the company’s control.

 

  • Urgent maintenance or repairs: If the reserved property requires urgent maintenance or repairs that render it uninhabitable, an alternative villa of equal or superior category will be offered, or a pro-rata refund will be provided for the days the accommodation is unavailable.

 

  • Breach of property rules: If the guest fails to comply with the established rules (e.g., occupancy limits, unauthorized events), the company may cancel the booking without refund and require immediate departure, with no right to relocation.

 

  1. Reservation Modifications
  • Change of dates: Date changes will be allowed with at least 30 days’ notice prior to arrival, subject to availability and a 5% administration fee of the total booking cost, plus any difference in rate if the new dates are more expensive.

 

  • Change of property: If the guest wishes to change properties, this can be done with at least 30 days’ notice, subject to availability and a 5% administration fee of the total booking cost. Additional charges may apply if the new property has a higher rate.

 

  1. No Shows
  • If the guest does not arrive at the property on the scheduled arrival date, it will be considered an automatic cancellation, and no refund will be provided. If the guest is unable to attend on the scheduled arrival date, the booking will not be cancelled, provided that the guest informs Villalize by email at info@villalize.com regarding the change of arrival date.
  1. Refunds
  • All refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days from the cancellation date.

 

  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the booking.

 

  1. Cancellation Insurance
  • Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel cancellation insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may lead to the cancellation of the booking.

 

  1. Check-in and Check-out Policy
  • Check-in: From 3:00 p.m. (local time). If the guest arrives after the check-in time, they must notify Villalize at least 48 hours in advance.

 

  • Check-out: By 10:00 a.m. Any delay in check-out without prior notice and authorization will incur a penalty fee ranging from €150.00 to €450.00, depending on the time elapsed since the scheduled check-out time, the actual check-out time, the season, and the type of accommodation.

 

  • Late Check-out: A late check-out request will incur an additional charge based on the time difference between the scheduled check-out time and the modified check-out time, the season, and the type of accommodation.

 

  1. Special Conditions
  • For flexible rates, promotional offers, or special discounts, the cancellation policy may differ and will be communicated to the guest at the time of booking.

 

 

  1. Acceptance of Terms
  • By confirming the booking, the guest accepts all the terms and conditions set forth in this cancellation policy.
